Welsh Students (League) James Thatcher has been picked yet again to represent the Welsh Students this weekend in the European Nations in Widnes. James has been picked as captain.

Issy Jones who plays rugby for Colwyn Bay
Mermaids U 17 girls team was selected to play for Wales Women U19 's against
USA Women's U19's last Thursday night. International caps were not
awarded this time but it can't be long before Issy is rewarded for her
efforts.

Issy is part of the successful Mermaids team,
who's next fixture is at home to Waterloo U17 girls on Thursday 5/4/07 evening
at 6.45 pm
Issy, a student at Coleg Llandrillo has also
played for the Welsh Students side.
All girls interested in taking up the sport,
both contact and non-contact are welcome to come training at 1045 on Sunday
mornings or 6.45 Thursday evenings at Colwyn Bay rugby Club, Brookfield Drive,
Rhos on Sea
