Past Players Lunch 2011

57 old farts attended the Former Players' Lunch last Saturday. Ages ranged from a youthful David Pollard down to an even younger Carl Roberts. Apologies were received from many players - Gareth Davies, Bob Messham and Roy Williams from London and Dave Myers from Dubai to name a few. An excellent buffet was provided by our club steward Gill and we were all entertained by Mike Sam's powerpoint presentation of a huge range of old photographs. Former players who have not been contacted should email elwyn on elwyn_thomas@hotmail.com so that they can be put on the database and included in the future. Anyone with old photos, press cuttings or anything of historical interest should contact Mike on mikesamjones@btinternet.com £300 was also raised by way of a raffle for the club's charity.
