With a good win from the previous week the Bay were
looking to keep it going. The weather made for a factor in the game
as the wind was strong, but undeterred the boys went out strong, and
Tom Harding scoring within 10 minutes into the game. the Bay powered
on with great tackling and passing by all. Unfortunately Llangefni
came back with a try of there own. Once again team effort and Niall
Doherty scored the next try for the Bay with Jacob Griffith
converting it. But with all effort Llangefni got through and scored
again. Just before half time Sean Sheridan scored the try for the
Bay and Jacob Griffith converting it, making the score at half time
19-15. With all to play for the Bay came out second half determined
to keep the score line, but with all effort by the Bay, Llangefni
got one more try in the second half, leaving it at Llangefni 20

Denbigh 45 Colwyn Bay 7
Our first game of the season did not start off to well, but there
was good rugby played, with new player Kieran Williams making some
good tackles and gaining a lot of ground. Danny Reynolds another new
player also had a good game. The Bay kept the pressure on, but
mistakes were being made, which allowed Denbigh to win. The Bay did
make a well deserved try from Ian Hillier and Jake Griffith
converted it. With plenty more games to be played the errors from
today can be addressed in training, and we can look forward to the
