Colwyn Bay Under 8s 4  Bro Ffestiniog 5
 
Colwyn Bay had a good first half angainst Bro Ffestiniog. Twisting and turning Peter Jones went through the middle to score the first try for the Bay. Bro Ffestiniog then scored two quick tries in reply. Some good defensive work from the Bay gave them a turn over which ended in a try for Shaun Edwards. All square at 2-2 at half time.
The second half started on the back foot for Bay , having to defend doggedly but Bro Ffestiniog broke through twice to score. In Reply Shaun Edwards scored his second try of the game. After Bro ffestiniog had gone on to score again a substitution was made and Luke Simmons came on and scored with his first move running to the corner. That proved to be the last move of the game but the Bay had put up good resistance to a good passing Bro Ffestiniog side.

The second game and a different set of players for the Bay. This game had some very good defense from both teams and the trys scored were all hard fought with no clear runs. Luke Simmons and William Opie scored the two trys for the first half with Bro Ffestiniog replying to both with trys of there own. The second half was just as close with William and Luke scoring another try each but Bro Ffestiniog came back at the Bay and scored two trys one at the last move of the game to get the draw. A good effort from both the whole team for both games. Player of the day went to Shaun Edwards for his all round performance.
