We as a Community Rugby Club feel
that it is important to be involved accordingly within our
locality.
Over the last 6 years we
have chosen a Charity on an annual basis which we feel is
important to us all and have collected in the region of £16,000.
We have supported Hope House, St
David's Hospice, Testicular Cancer, Yogi (A rugby player with
severe injury after playing) SSAFA, Childline.
On Saturday 31st October we
donated a sum of £2,050 to Alder Hay Hospital Imagine Appeal,
the cheque being presented by Ellie (who herself has benefitted
by the expertise of the wonderful work done at Alder Hay) She is
pictured giving the cheque on behalf of the club to Irene Axon
of Alder Hay with 2 club officials Pete Rice Hon Treasurer &
Brian Roberts President together with The Mayor of the Bay of
Colwyn Abdul Khan.
We as a club would like to thank
everyone who has been associated with the fundraising over the
years and would mention that this years nominated Charity is
Wales Air Ambulance
