Rugby league training under the guidance of qualified and experienced coaches recommences at the conclusion of the rugby union season in May 2006. Training will be every Thursday evening at 7.00pm. It is hoped to offer opportunities at both under-12's and under-14 age groups.

The Conwy Celts are part of the North Wales Rugby League Service Area. This is the organisation that assists the development of rugby league. At open age (adult) level rugby league is available locally with the North Wales Coasters whilst university students participate at both Bangor University and NEWI College, Wrexham. In 2004/05, four North Wales schools in Wrexham, Mold and Saltney received qualified coaching and took part in the qualifying rounds of the Powergen Schools Trophy. This year Brynteg High School, Bridgend have reached the final of the Powergen Trophy and will play at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff in the curtain raiser to the Rugby League Challenge Cup.
