I was born in Warrington in 1971 and moved to Wales in 1978. I played rugby for Denbigh in my junior days as second row.

I then joined the Royal Navy and played rugby for both my ships, playing all over the world - I was a lot fitter in those days!

I then had a break from rugby for over 10 years until my son started playing for Colwyn Bay Mini's. I was accosted to play a season as prop for the seconds, before hanging my boots up for the final time. I decided to help out down the club and was soon managing the Mini's. I then set up Colwyn Bays first ever girls team, which was a great success. I then started a second season with the girls forming 2 age groups before handing over the rains  and to concentrate on the Website,  and the Club Shop. I was also Junior Representative in the Senior Committee for 3 years.

I now look forward to a season away from the Junior Section to maintain the web site, concentrate on advertising boards, Club Shop and be Honorary Secretary for the Senior Committee.
