Attack Training - 2006/2007

Attack Training will be held every Monday evening from 7pm to 8:30pm.
 
Session will focus on speed, power and agility with a fundamental emphasis placed upon handling skills, positional awareness and footwork.

Session will be 90mins and involve all of the core attributes required by modern day rugby athletes:-
1. Baseline functional strength
2. Core-stability/control/strength
3. Heightened agility
4. Explosive multi-directional speed
5. Fast feet

I take great pains to point out that there will be NO DISTANCE RUNNING. These sessions are based upon sound, modern, physiological drills and techniques. The days of 3 mile+ runs are OVER.

Open minds and motivated players with serious intent to develop and improve are the order of the day. Full attendance is required. We need numbers on the training ground...EVERY SESSION. Youth players are more than welcome as are all senior club players.

As we know from last season, Division 4 requires that no stone is left unturned and if the Bay wish to prove their competitiveness. Make no mistake. The time to commence some well structured physical conditioning is now.
