Dear all,
We are now
about half way through the season and I thought it would be timely
to update you on the next couple of months.
Thanks for
your ongoing support through the season and let’s ensure that the
second half is a great success with lots of fun for the youngsters!
The weather is
improving…….it gets much easier from here on in!
This
Wednesday: 24th February
Instead of
training we are hoping that you will all join us at Eirias Park for
the RGC 1404 (old Gogledd Cymru) match against Sale Jets. Kick off
is at 7.30pm and tickets can be bought on the day or in advance.
I’ve attached the website link for further information. We hope to
meet up in the hall next to the grandstand prior to the match
starting. Feel free to get in touch if you need any more
information.

and meet at the Club at 10.00 – 10.15am.
The
provisional rest of the season’s fixtures:

Sunday 11th
April – Training
Sunday 18th

Sunday 25th
April – ANGLO-WELSH TOURNAMENT, WREXHAM
Sunday 2nd
May – Training
Saturday
8th May – WELLY TOURNAMENT, LLANDUDNO
Please try to
be available for as many of these fixtures as you can. The
tournaments are a lot of fun and as we get to play quite a few
matches we need as full as squad as possible. We managed the
semi-finals of the Anglo-Welsh and the Welly Tournaments last year!
Minis ‘Tour’
to the Crocky Trail
This fun event
will be on Sunday 16th May. A coach will be available
for the trip to Cheshire followed by fun on the ‘rides’ and on the
trail itself. I strongly recommend a change of clothes for children
and adults alike. Do not turn up in a white linen shirt as I did 2
years ago!! I will be providing more information nearer the time
but would be grateful for an idea about numbers (children,
siblings and parents) particularly whether you would be travelling
by coach.
Presentation &
Registration Day
This will be
held on Sunday 9th May at the club. We hope to have a
BBQ or hog roast and there will be a presentation of prizes to the
players. I am combining this with an early registration day so you
will be able to register for the 2010-2011 season at this years
prices!
Junior Section
AGM
Monday 10th
May @ 7pm in the clubhouse. All are welcome at the meeting as it is
your club!
Kitchen Duty –
Sunday 21st March
It is our
responsibility to provide 2 willing people to man the kitchens on
this date. You all use the kitchens at the club so I look forward
to volunteers coming forward. It would be good to see some new
faces and not just those that always volunteer. It is fun and only
lasts until lunchtime.
I think that
is all for now my dear friends & I look forward to seeing you all on
Wednesday night to support our local rugby team if you can make it.
Best wishes,
Cath
