More Bay Juniors called-up for North Wales

This season Four of the under 14’s have been heavily involved in training with the North Wales squad. Will Evans, Glyn Griffith, Spencer Lumby, & Gareth Williams have all played in a number of matches against N.Wales Club U15 sides. Whilst Spence & Gaz have both represented North Wales in previous seasons, it has all been a new experience for Will & Glyn. Both have risen to the occasion impressed the management. Will  scoring a good individual try against Denbigh U15’s & Glyn continuing the form he consistently shows for the club, especially in the contact area.

This is very much a development year at this age group, with few opportunities to play in full representative matches. Players skill development is the focus this season before the demands of Representative Rugby at U15 level becomes a reality, next season.

The four have faired well training alongside other players whom are recognised as the best, at their age, in the area.

Three of the lads got a taster of the meaning of a “step-up in opposition” when they played a Lancashire development team at Wrexham on 28^th January. Skill, strength, & ability were all on show from both sides. North Wales lost out on this occasion but a return match is due later in the season & North will be looking for some revenge.

We wish the lads continuing success for the rest of the season with the squad & would point out to the rest of the junior players in the Club that representative rugby is within reach of anyone whom is willing to put in the effort to improve their rugby.
